Amy Greene

Senior Policy Associate

Amy brings broad experience to The Hatcher Group in research and policy analysis, law, public relations and political campaigning. She created and executed a variety of programs and organizational systems as a regional director for the Obama campaign. Prior to the campaign, she represented the University of Pennsylvania in the Republic of Botswana, developing and implementing a research and evaluation agenda, as well as presenting and advocating for a wide range of social policy and practice needs.

Amy also has worked as a paralegal, crisis counselor and in research roles conducting policy and data analysis. Most recently, Amy conducted public relations and event planning activities for CBS-WUSA*9’s Metromix-DC.

Amy graduated summa cum laude both with a master’s degree in social policy from the University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in psychology and law & society from American University. She is a member of numerous honor societies, including Phi Beta Kappa.
