Helina Teklehaimanot

Senior Associate

Helina joined The Hatcher Group in December 2005 and provides extensive support for clients such as Washington Area Women’s Foundation, the Eckerd Family Foundation and the DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation. She also plays an integral role in coordinating the Spotlight on Poverty and Opportunity initiative and in supporting the Annie E. Casey Foundation’s work on rural poverty and workforce development.

A cum laude graduate of Boston College, Helina has received numerous honors for her academic accomplishments and leadership, including the Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship and the McNair Scholars program. Prior to joining The Hatcher Group, Helina held a marketing internship with the World Teach Organization, a nonprofit that encourages individuals to teach in developing countries. She also completed a significant research project on the influence of African countries within the World Trade Organization.
