Susan Loyd

Susan has more than 20 years of experience in public affairs and marketing communications. Before joining The Hatcher Group, Susan was a senior public affairs associate at the Urban Institute, where she prepared and disseminated Institute findings to to policy analysts, Congress, advocacy organizations, and the media.

 

Previously, she owned and managed Loyd-Gilbert Associates, a public affairs communications business in Minneapolis, Minn. She provided consulting services to public and private sector clients, including media relations and advocacy support, speech writing, public information video production, and facilitation and presentations for workshops and conferences.

 

Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of North Dakota and a master’s degree in government from Johns Hopkins University.
