Behavioral Health System Baltimore launched a statewide initiative in Maryland to expand a straightforward, proven intervention that healthcare providers can use to identify people who may have a drinking or drug problem. Known as Maryland SBIRT (Screening, Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment), the initiative needed a graphic identity, materials and an online presence.


We worked closely with BHSB to develop an attractive logo and tagline to brand the initiative, created  messaging describing the program and its results, created a range of explanatory materials, including posters, rack cards and brochures, and built a website with background resources about the SBIRT initiative – information useful to both providers and members of the public.


Maryland SBIRT now has a strong identity and a suite of materials to use as the campaign continues for years to come.
