Annette supports The Hatcher Group and our clients by creating rich visual solutions in a variety of mediums.
Annette studied illustration at Virginia Commonwealth University, from which she graduated magna cum laude in 2015. She has worked as a freelance illustrator for both print and digital publications such as NPR, Vox Media, and Johns Hopkins Health Review, and The Commonwealth Times. She migrated into design through internships with NPR’s Visuals Team, Virginia Living Magazine, and Media General FX, gathering experience in a variety of industries.
Prior to joining The Hatcher Group, Annette was a graphic design fellow at the nonprofit, GlobalGiving. In this role, she improved the user experience and design of webpages, designed case studies and reports, produced animated videos and infographics, created imagery for digital campaigns, and supported each team’s design needs.
