Zoey Lichtenheld

Senior Director

At The Hatcher Group, Zoey helps build and execute communications strategies that advance education initiatives.

Before joining The Hatcher Group, Zoey provided a wide range of communications support, including media relations and digital content creation, to advocacy organizations that operate at the national and state level.

During her time working at a statewide reproductive rights advocacy organization in Texas, Zoey developed and implemented the organization’s first earned media strategy and helped establish the organization as an authority on reproductive health policy in state and local media. She also helped the organization build coalitions and strengthen community and donor support.

Zoey has also promoted initiatives for a diverse range of advocacy organizations that better communities’ health and well-being during her previous work with a public affairs firm. In her work, she secured national and local media coverage for organizations focused on early childhood education, paid family leave, and hunger.

Zoey holds a master’s degree in media and strategic communication from The George Washington University and bachelor’s degrees in multimedia journalism and women’s and gender studies from The University of Texas.
