Sami is a senior digital strategist with a wide range of experiences in digital technology and creative communications. At The Hatcher Group, Sami focuses on optimizing social media and digital strategies while adding uniqueness and authenticity to expand audiences and engage supporters.
Sami previously worked as a digital strategist at a digital consulting firm, managing e-mail lists, social media accounts and overall digital strategy. He focused on building narratives and motivating storytelling that raised funds, spread awareness, and grew a dedicated following. Sami has worked with first-time digital clients focused on micro-engagement with a specific audience, as well as nationwide organizations with millions of constituents to organize. He has extensive experience both offering remote help from an office and being embedded on the ground for rapid response moments while traveling with clients.
Sami received his bachelor’s degree in journalism and political science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he volunteered communications and digital strategy services for homeless organizations and traveled abroad to study politics in Istanbul. A passionate Wisconsinite and son of a Palestinian immigrant, Sami believes storytelling, good food and sharing cultural experiences are the keys to a happy life.
