Ryan Nau

Ryan is a producer, cinematographer, and video editor with a passion for authentic storytelling, documentary filmmaking, short-form advertising, and brand-driven content.

Before joining The Hatcher Group, Ryan built and led a full-service video production business where he produced branded content, documentaries, and commercial projects for a diverse range of clients. He oversaw all phases of production, from creative development through post-production. Throughout the production process, he consistently translated complex ideas into clear, compelling visual stories for use as campaign videos, promotional content, testimonials, and social media assets.

Ryan specializes in mission-driven storytelling, public-sector communications, and branded video content for government agencies, nonprofits, and advocacy-focused organizations. With a strong technical foundation in cinematography, lighting, and post-production, he works primarily in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. Ryan brings a collaborative, detail-oriented approach to every project, with a focus on making complex messages accessible through authentic visual storytelling.
