The Wallace Foundation relies on Hatcher as a thought partner in the planning and execution of all its major communications activities. Our partnership has grown significantly over the years with a full suite of creative strategies, tactics, and collateral  to convey the impact of The Wallace Foundation’s grantmaking. We provide strategic counsel to the foundation’s communications team; offer technical assistance to grantee organizations; develop dissemination plans for new foundation resources; conduct media outreach; prepare materials for board presentations; host webinars and other events; produce videos and podcasts; craft organic social media content; oversee paid advertising campaigns; write blog posts; and more.

Podcast Series

Hatcher produced and distributed a five-episode podcast series that shared the experiences of practitioners in schools and out-of-school programs working together to help children develop social and emotional learning skills.

Blog Series

Hatcher produced and distributed a seven-part blog and video series for the foundationprofiling the University of Connecticut’s efforts to strengthen its principal training program.

  • Ran an in-depth social media campaign that gained more than 130,000 impressions of Wallace’s podcast series.  
  • Partnered with the foundation to release a groundbreaking 2019 RAND Corporation report on the effects of principal pipelines on student achievement. 
  • Managed the report launch event with more than 300 in-person attendees and more than 1,000 people viewing the livestream presentation.  
  • Garnered report coverage in 13 media outlets; 529 people tweeted using #PrincipalPipeline, producing 1,612 tweets and gaining 10.8 million potential impressions.
