Maia Alexander

Vice President, Talent and Culture

Maia Alexander is The Hatcher Group’s internal champion of talent and culture. She supports our Human Capital Management including talent acquisition, talent management, total rewards and employee engagement.

Prior to joining The Hatcher Group, Maia was a Human Resources Business Partner at Newmark, a global commercial real estate firm. In that role, she was an advisor and coach to over 500 real estate professionals throughout the United States. She managed the compensation process, performance management cycle, full-cycle recruiting, and employee relations for the multifamily division. Maia has worked on a variety of special programs including an annual intern program, analyst development program, and campus recruiting.

Maia is a graduate of the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business in College Park, MD, where she majored in Management and Finance. After graduating, she immediately started working as a Human Resources Generalist with special focus on talent acquisition and special programs. Originally from Prince George’s County, MD, Maia currently lives in Edgewater, MD with her husband and energetic son.
