Celebrating Freedom on Juneteenth

At the Hatcher Group, we recognize that to move the needle on creating a more just America and end this country’s legacy of white supremacy, we must do something different. We must work each day to be strong allies to our Black colleagues and the Black community. This work is critical to our mission and our values as an organization.

To honor Juneteenth, the holiday commemorating the end of chattel slavery in the United States, we will be recognizing Friday, June 19th – America’s second Independence Day – as an official company holiday. We feel it is vital to give our colleagues the opportunity to celebrate Black history, reflect on the collective experiences and suffering of Black Americans, and learn how each of us can help pave a more just and equitable path forward.
