We kicked off October gathering as a team for the first time in a year — and it was all that and more. We spent a beautiful fall afternoon together at a winery with no formal agenda beyond sharing many laughs, breaking bread, meeting new teammates in person, and celebrating each other. Our Culture team hosted a meaningful presentation of our annual Make Your Mark awards, honoring colleagues who represent each of our values. We laughed, we cried, and we grew together. The day left us wanting more and we’re eager to create more opportunities to connect in person even while continuing to work remotely. It matters.
In this month’s issue of Spark, we’re proud to share some innovative solutions and client spotlights. First, like so many around the globe, we recognized World Mental Health Day on October 10. Our Public Health team highlights and applauds our clients’ continued efforts to promote and increase access to critical behavioral health resources. Also, our Multimedia team shares recommendations to reimagine events and include virtual recordings that offer longevity to compelling content. Speaking of content, our Digital team shines a light on some of our work supporting digital advocacy communications, including new tactics that are shaking up the advocacy landscape. Finally, several important climate awareness days/events were commemorated in October. Our Environment team brings focus to organizations that drive conservation efforts across the country and underscore programs that restore natural resources.
We began by sharing our appreciation for our team and we leave you with a teaser of what can happen when this talented and passionate crew does great work for our clients. Next week, we’re looking forward to celebrating two awards the the firm just received in recognition of what we do and how we do it. We’re incredibly proud of these accomplishments — all in service to our clients and each other. So today, and every day, we thank you for your partnership.
