Scott Parker

Senior Production Designer

Scott has career technical expertise in graphic design assets, including corporate design, brand brochures, presentation development, responsive email, website design and development, web banner advertising, e-learning and social media video production.

Prior to joining The Hatcher Group, Scott worked at HORNE Creative Group where he designed and produced html responsive emails and eNewsletters, animated html5 web banner ads, PowerPoint presentations, print ads, catalogs, monthly social media static graphics and motion graphic videos for clients including the Indian Health Service (IHS), Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and the FBI. He also created 508-compliant accessible pdf documents with Adobe Acrobat and other tools.

Before that he worked at a cloud-based regulatory monitoring, education and training company creating storyboards, eLearning graphics that were both static and interactive, as well as html programming with style sheets. He designed and produced marketing materials, demo sites, web sites and user interface wireframes for their online training software and administrative tools.

At CSC Consulting Group, he managed an in-house graphics department where he designed marketing materials, internal newsletters, presentations, and proposals in support of over 200 consultants, the marketing director, and operations. Became a consultant working on website demos for the sales team and later working with clients in the field including, USPS, Deloitte and MedStar Health.

Scott earned his BFA from Virginia Commonwealth University in Communication Arts and Design. He was chosen by portfolio to work with a local company on their annual report and did an internship at Pentagon Printing Services. In his downtime, he likes to read and watch news about his community and the world. Takes daily walks with his wife and spends time teaching his son with special needs independent life and job skills for his future.
